1The Front Door
Best begun on your computer — the machine you already trust — then carried to the
phone by QR in Step 8. Verify the build first (the fingerprint of the
code you are served is published at
blubox.watch/release.json,
and inside the app under ☰ App Settings → Verify this Build), bookmark
blubox.watch, and arrive by that bookmark from then on — never a
search engine, where lookalikes buy the top result.
Then paste any public wallet address — yours or one you are curious about.
The field only accepts 0x addresses, so a seed phrase cannot be entered even by
accident. Until a real address is entered, every number on screen is labeled
Sample Data. Nothing you paste leaves your browser except public chain reads.
2The Three Cards
- The BluBox (blue) — your Total Wallet value. The dots on its
right edge are lenses: Total, T-Share Value, LP Only. Every number carries a
Show Work fold that derives it.
- The Hex Fade (gold-to-pink) — your Global T-Share Stake Ranking
among every staker wallet. Tap the hexagon logo to cycle its faces: Global
Liquid HEX, then your T-Share Years; the border dots show which face you are on,
and tapping them returns Home.
- The Value box — whatever subject is selected, with its day-range
chip and chart. TRUE $ shows what ending today would actually bank;
FUTURE shows the blue-sky market lens.
3Tap Any Row: Its Chart, Then Its Work
Every row charts — tokens, LP pools, PlusX pools, and stakes alike. One tap
selects; the Value box shows the holding’s worth across the chosen range, and
the chart button flips it to the picture. A second tap on the row opens its
Show Work, where every figure is derived in plain arithmetic — Token Count ×
Price, nothing hidden. On a phone, turn the device sideways and the chart
fills the screen.
4The Desktop Ledger
On a screen with room, BluBox spreads out: the Token Balances ledger gains a
DETAILS column that shows every row’s arithmetic in place —
count × price for tokens, principal-plus-payout for stakes, underlying sides
for LP pools — the Show Work story, always open. With real addresses
watched, that column names the wallet holding each row — its
nickname, or N Wallets when several do, with the named split inside
that row’s Show Work. This is the view the setup
starts from: set up here, verify here, then bridge to the phone.
5The Transactions Pane
- Swipe left (or use the arrows) and the Token Balances pane becomes
Transactions — the dated ledger of payouts, buys, emissions,
and liquidity events.
- The thirteen month cards cover a rolling year, darkest = this
month; each row wears its month’s tint, so the ledger reads by season at a
glance.
- Tap a month card to filter the ledger to that month; tap it
again for All. Every transaction still unfolds its own Show Work.
- The whole ledger exports as a CSV file from App Settings —
your records, portable.
6Print, on Paper’s Terms
The print button (on either ledger’s title, or App Settings →
Print…) offers four presets: This Page, the Selected Graph, the full Token
Balances ledger, and Transaction Balances for whatever range the month cards are
showing. Paper gets paper’s manners: white background, dark ink, and no
row ever split across a page break.
7Four Themes, Chosen per Device
App Settings holds four themes — two terminal darks, two ledger papers — and the
choice stays per device: a Buff computer and a Sage phone are both your
BluBox. Theme is a setting, not an identity; every number reads the same in
all four.
8The Export String, and the QR Bridge
The Export String is the portable copy of your BluBox state — addresses, nicknames,
validators, settings. Every string is encrypted, locked with
the Vault password of the device that created it (Step 10) — Export and Import
both ask for it. Save a string once and any browser on any device restores
your setup with one paste. The QR courier is the bridge to
your pocket: the code draws on the computer screen, the phone’s camera reads
it through the air, and nothing crosses email or cloud.
- Encrypted QR Code — the code carries your encrypted string, so
even a photograph of it reveals nothing without your password.
- QR is an established, safe standard in mobile communication — the same everyday
standard that lets a date on a website land in your calendar as an alarm.
- BluBox uses that one too: .ics alarms for stake endings.
- Sending one address to another person? Your device’s own QR generator
does that — a public address is public information and needs no security.
- Version updates never require re-importing: new code arrives with any refresh,
and your String data stays until you delete it.
9Hide BluBox, the Privacy Curtain
- Tapping Hide BluBox hides the BluBox card, the Hex Fade card, and
the top position’s value — for sharing your phone, or people peeping.
It only hides the cards — it does not lock the app.
- An optional Unlock Code or Word secures the hidden state. It
stays on that device only — it never travels in your Export String.
- Forgotten it? Clear Data and re-import your Export String or addresses —
recovery reveals nothing that was hidden.
10BluBox-Vault, the Password (Optional)
- On a phone, entering an address or importing a string offers the
BluBox-Vault: an optional password that scrambles your addresses, nicknames, and
remembered values on that device — unreadable without it. Real encryption,
done by the browser itself; the password is never stored anywhere.
- BluBox asks for the password when it opens. Any length —
spaces and full sentences welcome; case matters. Short sentences are easy
to remember.
- The Vault only locks when the way you run BluBox closes: swiping Safari (or the
Home-Screen app) away, or a device restart. Tapping Hide
BluBox does not lock it — that only hides the cards (Step 9).
Refresh all you like — it never asks twice in one session.
- ⚠ Recovery is Only Import String. A forgotten password
means Clear Data and Import an Export String (Step 8). Encrypted
strings open with the password of the device that made them — an older plain
string, or re-typing your public addresses, always works.
- Export and Import require the Vault — the password that guards
this device also locks every string it creates. Use the same password
on both devices and there is only one to remember.
- Desktop is never asked automatically — but any device can set, change, or remove
its password under App Settings → BluBox-Vault.
11Presets, Your Portfolios by Name
A Preset is a named group of watched addresses — Cold, Trading, Staking, LP,
Moms — and tapping one turns the whole BluBox into that group’s
portfolio. Every card, total, and ledger re-reads as just those
addresses. Find them under App Settings, on the right third of the Watched
Addresses row. Because Preset names are personal, creating one
requires the BluBox-Vault (Step 10).
- All is the system Preset — every address joins it when added,
unless you untick All at entry. That is how a friend’s address can be
watched without ever mixing into your own totals.
- Each Preset Remembers Its Own View. Hide an address while
looking at Staking, and it stays hidden there — while remaining visible in
All. The same address can show in one Preset and sit hidden in another;
that is the feature, not a bug. Each Preset keeps its own address
order too.
- Edit owns everything — a Preset’s name, its member
checkboxes, and its address order (▲▼ beside each member), all in
one place.
- Preset Global View unfolds every Preset with every member in one
pane — and the print glyph beside the Presets title puts that whole picture on
paper, controls stripped, your legend at the top.
- Deleting a Preset never touches addresses — only the grouping
goes, and any address left with no group returns to All. Deleting an
address happens only in Watched Addresses.
- Ways people use them: cold storage checked rarely · trading ↔ staking
in one tap · LP wallets in their own view · a family member’s
addresses kept apart · books for a friend · before-and-after
comparisons · large stakers you watch, separate from your own.
- Presets travel inside your Export String — encrypted like everything else.
Remember each browser is its own BluBox: Firefox and Safari on one computer hold
separate storage and separate Vaults, bridged the same way as any two devices —
Export String → Import String.
Which Tokens Show — the Depth Rule
BluBox only prices tokens on its verified registry, and the registry admits tokens by
one arithmetic rule, applied to the deepest single liquidity pool the token has.
At $36,900 of pool depth a token earns a live price. At
$100,000 it earns a daily price chart. Below the bar it does
not appear at all — a shallow pool cannot be trusted to tell the truth about price,
so BluBox declines to repeat what it says.
Depth means the pool’s own reserves — not market cap. A market cap is
every token in existence multiplied by the last trade’s price, and a $500
puddle can print a $20 million market cap without anyone risking a dollar.
Pool depth is money someone actually parked; that is why it is the measure.
Want a token added? Deepen its pool past the bar and it qualifies — the rule
decides, not a mailbox. Depth is measured on-chain from the pool’s own
reserves at review time.
Trust, but Verify — the Three-Rung Ladder
An app that watches your wallet should not ask for your trust — it should hand you
proof. BluBox’s plan for that is a ladder of three rungs, each one
removing something you would otherwise have to take on faith. The tool
underneath all three is a fingerprint (a “hash”): a math
function reads a file and produces a unique 64-character code — change even one byte
of the file and the code changes completely. Anyone can run the same math on
the same files and check the codes match; nobody can forge a file that keeps the
same code.
- Rung 1 — the fingerprint is published. (Live today.)
Every BluBox release fingerprints all the code your browser will run and publishes
the result at blubox.watch/release.json. Anyone
can download the live files, run the same math, and confirm the running app is
exactly the released app. The honest limit: the same website serves both the
files and the fingerprint, so this rung alone still asks you to trust that one
server.
- Rung 2 — the blockchain holds the fingerprint. (Built; awaiting its
first publication.) The same fingerprint gets published on
PulseChain from a dedicated release wallet — a place nobody can edit, not even
us. That wallet’s transaction history becomes the permanent,
unretractable list of every release ever made, and a verify page will let your own
browser compare the live site against the chain. The chain referees, so no
website has to be trusted alone.
- Rung 3 — a reference copy lives outside the web. (Planned.)
A full copy of each release pinned to IPFS — a public, content-addressed file
network — with its address published on-chain the same way. Even if every
BluBox website vanished tomorrow, the code and the means to verify it would still
exist.
The principle behind the ladder: trust falls only where proof stands. Each rung
will light up on this page as it goes live.
